Mission of Burma released their first 7” single in 1980 and never since looked back again.  They are an American punk rock band formed in 1979 Boston by Roger Miller on guitar, Clint Conley on bass, Peter Prescott on drums and Martin Swope as the sound engineer. Their music can be described as avant-garde experimentation but they play a mix of rock, punk, indie rock, art rock.  They have released six studio albums and a number of EPs and singles. After disbanding briefly they got together again in 2002 and still tour today.

This is my beautiful cover of the day.  The sleeve was designed by Holly  Anderson and also credited to Mission of Burma. The photography is credited to Diane Bergamasco.
