The original version of Mannish Boy was recorded in may 1955 with Muddy waters on vocals and guitar, Jimmy Rogers on guitar, Junior Wells on Harmonica and Fred Below on drums.
The photo on the record cover features a model for the Levis 501 jeans in the retro commercial that used ‘Mannish Boy’ to promote the jeans. The advert was made in 1988.
