The Bathers is a 7 member Scottish group formed in 1985 by Chris Thomson. It emerged in the mid-1960s as a fusion of pop, rock and classical music band. Their music is also referred to as chamber pop, a term used to refer specifically to music that utilises the string instruments of chamber music and so can also be seen as a sub-set of baroque pop and rock.
The record sleeve which was desiged by Steve Storey features a beautiful profile of Ingrid Bergman rising up from a stormy ocean is one of the few singles released by the group.
